The MD (Prof Jan Nieuwenhuis) has vast experience in the field of education and training as well as education research. Prof Jan Nieuwenhuis has been a consultant for the Council on Higher Education in South Africa for the past fifteen years. He had worked on numerous assignments for the CHE including the National Review of Education Programmes, National Audit of the South African Council for Quantity Surveyors, and served as chairman of various site visits aimed at assessing the capacity of institutions to offer higher education programmes, investigating complaints received, drafting accreditation recommendations and carrying out institutional audits. He was also responsible for the development of an Audit Framework for Accreditation in Lesotho and served on numerous projects in Lesotho reviewing programmes for accreditation purposes.

Prof Jan Nieuwenhuis has been running a children’s ministry for more than thirty years focusing on the primary school child in children’s homes. He has an active Bible Study group for many years.
